Aidan’s Light is a non-profit that will advocate to help stop youth suicide through charitable giving to both national and local charities, focusing on the prevention of youth suicide and treatment of mental health problems. We also look to provide local schools the needed resources to bring awareness to youth mental health and prevent youth suicide.
Aidan's Light is dedicated to Aidan Hegge, beloved son of Ryan & Jennifer Hegge, who died by suicide on July 27, 2020. As family, we were so honored when Ryan & Jennifer presented the idea of creating a wine label in honor of Aidan and for Aidan's Light. In particular this wine label would be placed on our Marquette wine. Aidan helped us plant our very first grapevines - the Marquette grapevines. How special it is to know that Aidan himself had a part in producing this beautiful red wine.

The Poem on the Bottle
After Aidan's death, a close friend of his, Ella, shared a poem Aidan had written for her – titled “The Light Inside”. Ella sharing this poem gave Ryan & Jennifer the inspiration to start and share Aidan’s Light with others who may be contemplating suicide – so they can remember their own light.
