Wines & Tastings
-
Wine is available by glass, bottle or flights.
-
A wine flight is the best way to do a tasting. Wine flights consist of 3 wines of your choosing - 2 oz pours each.
-
We also offer individual 1 oz wine tastings.
-
It's suggested to keep your tastings to 3 or 4 wines so not to overwhelm your taste buds.
-
See our Wines page for a full listing of wines.
-
Our wine list is constantly changing as we add new wines and sell out of others. We do our best to keep popular wines on the list but is often out of our control. Wine fruit is harvested only once a year with harvest yields varying dramatically than initial expectations. It then takes another several months to complete a wine to perfection before putting it in the bottle and on the shelf.
Food & Other
-
See the Food page for a list of our food options that we offer at the winery & tasting room.
-
Wine is our true passion and purpose but we are happy to offer food options to be enjoyed with our wines.
-
We ask for your patience as we prepare all of our food items to order. We have a small kitchen that can only prepare a couple items at a time. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all food items ordered within a group will arrive together.
-
We have food trucks scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall.
-
Our kitchen will be closed when food trucks are present.
-
The food truck schedule can change often and with little notice.
-
-
It's often rare, but there may be instances in which our kitchen will be closed due to staffing or other unexpected circumstances.
More About Us
-
We are veteran owned, family operated.
-
We currently care for approximately 3 acres of vineyards. Owner Dan is the vigneron (a.k.a. vineyard grower/caretaker).
-
We currently grow Marquette, Itasca and Frontenac grapes.
-
All of our wines are made on site, in the same building as the tasting room. Owner Ashley is the vintner (a.k.a. winemaker).
-
Although technically Dan is the vigneron and Ashley is the vintner, they often (every day actually) work together and help each other out on both sides of the operation. Our son, River, is also an extremely hard worker and is always anxious to lend a helping hand every step of the process. We rely on and greatly appreciate all of the extra help we are blessed with from family, friends and our staff during our peak production months such as harvest, planting and bottling!
-
In addition to our own producing grapes, we rely heavily on other hardworking fruit growers for the fruit required to produce our wines.
